Ergonomic Workstations

NIE Library provides a variety of active workstations that allow users to alternate between sitting, standing, and light movement while working.

All equipment is available on a first-come, first-served basis. No booking is required.

Locations of Equipment

1) Desk Bikes - available on all levels (two per floor): 
• Level 2 – Beside the Private Viewing Room (inside Reserves section)
• Level 3 – At LIBytes (near the Café)
• Level 4
– In the Lending Collection near the bookshelf with Call Number DA
– Near the windows beside the printers (extreme right end)

2) Standing Desks - with anti-fatigue mats and privacy panels
• Level 2 – Near the Dr Muhammad Ariff Ahmad Research and Resource Hub (MAS RRH@LIBRIS) area

3) Desk Converters 
• Level 3 – First two tables nearest the lift
